  1. Felicity

These winter gloves are wonderful for cold weather. They are warm, waterproof, and windproof, making them ideal for outdoor activities like running, cycling, and other winter sports. The thermal insulation keeps my hands cozy even in freezing temperatures. I like the touch screen feature, it allows me to use my phone without removing the gloves.

These gloves are great for winter. I chose the medium size, which is a bit tight, but if you have big hands, I recommend the large size. The lining is soft like fur, and the ends are tight to lock in warmth. The outer layer is waterproof, and there is a smooth plastic material on the palm side that can operate the touch screen. I am worried that this material may deteriorate over time, but for now, these gloves are great for the outdoors.

Winter walks in my home town have never felt more comfortable. These gloves have made dealing with the chill while out with my little ones and the dogs much easier. They’re wonderfully warm, and with the snug fleece lining and extra padding, I can enjoy our hillwalking adventures even when the wind off the north sea is determined to make its presence known. A delightful feature is being able to use my phone without having to take the gloves off – really handy when coordinating pick-ups or capturing spontaneous snapshots of the kids’ antics. Plus, the waterproof design is very reliable during our winter camping trips – I’ve had to wrestle with tent poles in the rain, and the gloves held up brilliantly. Whether I’m commuting by bicycle or handling the weekend garden chores, the non-slip material provides excellent grip, reducing any chance of mishaps. These gloves have easily become a part of my daily routine this winter, proving their worth time and time again.

    These fit me well, however;

Apart from gross movement they do not work well with my phone. They can be used to answer a call and scroll a page but anything more precise is not possible, at least for me.

They make noise and also have an annoying ‘3M Thinsulate’ label sticking out of the side, which might not be as bad but they are black gloves and it’s a white and red label, so very prominent.

I would imagine that scissors may become involved at some point.

Fairly cheap feeling and looking gloves but hopefully they will be better than no gloves when it stops being September.

Baring in mind the inexpensive price when reviewed (£9.99), the accuracy of the fit, and that they do appear to be functional gloves, I’m giving 4 stars, if they had cost even a little more then it would have been 3 stars but I find myself unable to judge those to the same standard as a less inexpensive pair.

Very warm gloves that fit well on the hand. I chose medium and they are tight so I would suggest if you have bigger than average hands use Large upwards.

The interior is soft and like fur with a cuff around the end to keep the warmth in. The exterior on the outside is like a waterproof material (don’t know if this is or not) with the interior side a more shiny plastic type of material that can be used to operate touchscreens etc.

The plastic type material is my only concern as it might degrade over time. We will just have to see.

These gloves are very useful for anyone using touch appliances outside whether that is for work or play.

Although this glove is nominally waterproof, it is actually only suitable for light rain. The lining is soft and comfortable, and the gloves are equipped with convenient buckles. The touch screen effect is poor and there is no washing label. The warmth and practicality of this glove are good.

  7. Savvy Shopper

These gloves come in sizes S to XL. They are very good quality gloves and extremely well made. I have size L. My hand is 20cm long from the end of my index finger to my wrist line and my palm is 90mm across. They fit well and are comfy to wear with a soft lining. I like the faux leather palm with slightly more grip which makes you feel more secure holding your phone, etc. The elastic cuffs are useful. The touch screen element does work well on every finger and the thumb. As with other similar gloves you can do things like open your phone, take calls or take photos however you would struggle to type as the end of the gloves would tend to hit multiple keys. Despite being quite thick and well lined, the touch sensitive function is very responsive.

Most of the glove is made from a stretch nylon/neoprene like material with is quite soft and has a quality feel to it.

I have not yet had the chance to try them in cold wet weather however I can tell just by inspecting them that they will be warm, windproof and waterproof as claimed I have various gloves and these I beleive are the best in terms of their quality and warmth.

The material is branded ‘3M Thinsulate’ and I have had this brand of material before and found it to be good.

Overall, a very nice warm pair of gloves suitable for anyone for cycling, outdoor activities and good for holding your phone with the textured patches on the palm and fingers. Ideal for a very cold winters day, snowball fights or any activity that takes you outside on a cold day. We love to go for walks even on freezing winter days and these will be perfect for that.

  8. GR.

I requested these gloves in a medium size. I think small would have been a better fit but I intend to wear my thin arthritis gloves as well.
Positives: Arrived in a nice flat sealed box. The fleece lining is lovely; really cosy and warm. Waterproof. Has a handy little buckle to keep the gloves together. Well made. Good price.
Negatives: The description states ‘waterproof’ in the heading but further on states ‘water resistant’, which is not the same thing. In the detail it says that the outer is water resistant and there’s a waterproof layer underneath that is suitable for ‘light rain’. Not keen on the pvc palm and fingers; it looks and feels a bit cheap. Although the touch screen capability is there, I found it very inconsistent and kept face timing my daughter by mistake. The cuffs aren’t water resistant. Description states that the gloves are ambidextrous but they aren’t. No care/washing instructions.
These gloves are a good buy at £9.99. My hit and miss success with touch screens might be due to my fingers not quite reaching the end but even when I made sure that they did, it didn’t improve my success rate as the fingers are quite bulky. The sizing is quite generous so I’d definitely recommend measuring before ordering.

These winter gloves were bought for my wife so she can use her phone during the cold months. With testing, her hands are kept warm and dry thanks to the waterproof and windproof design, even in the rain. The touchscreen feature works without needing to remove the gloves, which is convenient for her. They aren’t bulky, so she can wear them comfortably while running errands or going for walks.

  10. Tabitha

I am glad to have these winter gloves. They are perfect for cold weather activities like cycling and skiing. The touch screen capability allows to use my phone without taking the gloves off, and it works flawlessly. They are warm, windproof, and waterproof, keeping my hands comfortable and dry. These gloves are well made and durable.
