A very handy “pocket” for summertime when you may not have actual pockets. The magnets hold it in place well.

Just ran the Star Wars half-marathon with the RB XL Pouch attached to a FlipBelt along with the RB H20 Pouch. You might think that it’s overkill to have two products of pockets, but they feel like they were meant for each other. Tons of storage, comfortable, water, no shifting. The RB Pouch’s long magnets keep the FlipBelt from scrunching, and the FlipBelt keeps you from attaching the Pouch to your shorts, which would sag and move you had a big phone and more only attached to your short’s elastic. (See my set up in my fourth photo).
I have three photos, before, during and after the half-marathon to show how practical this was. If you look at my first photo where I’m posing with Jabba the Hutt before the race you notice how much I was able to carry comfortably…
1) RB XL Pouch (on my back where a Stormtrooper would normally keep a thermal detonator, see my last photo): wife’s aviator sunglasses since the race started before sunrise, 3 packs of gummies for the both of us, toilet paper (it’s always a gamble with portapotties).
2) FlipBelt: Note 3 phone, wallet, hand sanitizer, my massive sunglasses hooked on the side.
3) RB H20 Pouch: 8oz of water (My wife only used the FlipBelt for her Note 4, and a RB H20 Pouch since I was able to carry everything else.)
By the time we got to the Wampa photo-op at mile 9, I had given my wife her sunglasses I kept in my RB XL, and like a Jawa, I replaced that space with tons of free gels they were handing out. Also, notice how well my sunglasses hook to the side of the FlipBelt next to the RB H20. After the race, I tucked all the free crap either in the RB XL or between my FlipBelt and my body (free cooling towels, snacks, etc.) while we waited in line to take photos with Capt. Phasma of Tarth.
In the past, I returned the other running storage products I tried because they did one thing well, but not everything well. This combination solves all the problems. So yeah, with this setup, I bet your phone would fit in the Buddy Pouch and it’d be comfortable and stable, but I’d rather keep other stuff in there. Highly recommended for longer runs, if you know you’re going to use the portapotties, or if you think you might run into a Wampa in the middle of the race like we did.

I bought this for my mom because she would never take her phone with her when she went out for a run or hike. She didn’t have pockets in those shorts and she didn’t want to carry her phone so she just left it at home. We originally bought her the 2014 version and she used it an really liked it. But when she upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S3 to the new Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, her phone would not fit into the old buddy anymore. So, she upgraded to the new larger Running Buddy 6+.
Her phone fits well and the pouch stays secured to her shorts and doesn’t bounce around or fall off…..even when running or hiking. She does find the new version to be a little bit less comfortable. It is heavier and wider. That means she needs to put it on a flat part of her waistband so she can’t wear it on the side like she did the old one. She has to spin it around to the back instead. This is not the fault of the pouch, but rather just a trade off due to the increased size of her new phone.
The phone does fit quite snugly in the pouch. This makes it good for minimized bounce when she moves but it also makes it a little harder to get the phone out especially since it is on her back instead of side. Again, not ideal but probably the trade off for minimizing the bounce. The magnets are super strong and hold snugly through all of her waistbands (thick short elastic not yoga pant style) and her phone is always dry despite how much sweating she does.
If you don’t have pockets, this pouch is the best. It also would work well as a treat pouch for dog lovers.

Ich benutze die Tasche ausschließlich beim Line-Dance.
Hier tut sie mir bisher gute Dienste. Ich habe die Wertsachen am Körper, kann auf eine Gürteltasche verzichten, die aufträgt.

I opted for the horizontal design VS vertical design since I figured it would be easier to sit/bend/crouch without it bumping my leg/lap. Glad I did… I can’t even feel it when I’m wearing it!
Purchased the xl but found it too snug for my phone (even tho measurements said it would fit). The net/elastic pocket you use to house your phone has a zipper… and the edge of my protective rubbery case on phone kept snagging on the zipper seam edge making it difficult to pull out with ease. When I removed my rubbery case, no issue. So if you have a rubbery/grippy case (VS a smooth one that will slide easily), you may want to consider sizing up. The XXL differs in design a bit though:
Returned the XL for the XXL (horizontal design) and my phone with rubbery case slipped in and out with ease perfectly….partly due to it being a bit larger but also because the XXL does not have a zippered net pouch. Worked way better for me. The larger size didn’t feel any bigger or bulkier than the xl. It also differed from the XL by having a small area on bottom of net pocket for your earphone cord to go thru (which zips when not in use). It still had the additional solid pocket in both designs (to hold ID, key, etc). Both designs are great… But just worth mentioning the differences.
No issue with the magnets… They provide a very secure fit that makes it stay put! Also it’s barely noticeable when wearing under loose fitting top over it. Can be worn front or back depending on what tasks you’re doing.
Wish I had found this sooner! Highly recommend… And appreciate the thought that went into this product.
