These are great for the cold weather I go out in: usually low 50’s to low 60’s when I use them). Blocks both cold and wind at those temps.
But while one can use their phone while wearing them, it’s not a super great experience. I listen to podcasts on my walks / jogs, and navigating the screen is difficult because the phone doesn’t respond to my touch. I keep trying to touch, for example, pause, and I have to keep touching it like 10 times (sometimes mosre) for it to respond. It’s not a matter of not being able to aim well, because buttons right next to it aren’t activated. It’s simply that the phone doesn’t know you’re touching it.
Like I said, these are great for the purpose they were made, but the added feature of touchscreen usability is poor.
I just take the glove off, do what I need to with my phone, and put the glove back on sometimes now. It’s that bad.
