Being a long distance runner, I’ve tried almost all brands of running belts / pouches. Every brand has their pros and cons – ease of use and durability is the most important aspect i look for. When you are on a long run, you tend to look out for your energy gel /fuel packs. The sides of this belt doesnt have zippers so it’s easy to access. The zippers on the front and back pouches are sturdy ( 5 months of use ) and holds your phone / keys / valuables. I’ve used it for 3 marathons and the sides can hold upto 5-6 gel packets ( Maurten) each ( that’s pretty much heavy / bulky ). The elasticity is still in great shape. Since there are no elastic extensions, i’m not worried to adjust the belt every now and then. That’s a big plus since adjusting the belt while running with stuff inside is the most distracting this you could have on a race day. I’ve not used this in rain (CA has not seen much rain for a while 🙁 ) so i’m unsure about how much water resistant it is. All i know is that it resists sweat a bit but not that much. I’m not worried about that since I can use a small ziplock to put any cash / cards if i need to and place it inside the zippered pouches. All in all, i’m very happy with this product.

I needed something to hold my phone while on short runs where I don’t need to bring water. If I put the phone in my pocket, it would bounce around. With the hipster, the phone is snug to me and there’s no bounce. I prefer this over armbands or pockets anytime.

I’ve never wanted to run with my phone before because I assumed it would be too heavy or awkward. But this belt fits my phone perfectly, and with it positioned on my rear there’s no bounce. I can barely tell I’m running with it on. Total game changer for me.

Toss it in with your laundry easily to keep it clean.

For reference, I wear 30″ or 31″ waist jeans and bought a medium after returning a small. Medium fits perfectly.

I like the Nathan brand I have several items. This running belt is great it fits my iphone15 and has an extra pocket for keys or whatever.

I wanted a band for my child to go to a theme park with. Luckily she has an iPhone 6s with an OtterBox defender, and that JUST fits. And when I say just, I mean just. If you have anything newer, I wouldn’t even risk trying it. There is pretty much no stretch to these pockets at all due to the zipper being cut too short. If they would’ve extended the zipper a little bit more, this would be a much better pouch, but that space makes everything so limiting. I’m not completely disappointed with this, but I was hoping it would be a little bit better. She hasn’t used it yet, so I do not know how it is going to hold up. My guess is that the zipper is going to be the first to break, as it is a cheap little thing, and like I mentioned not open long enough. It is a very weird type of stretchy material, and I definitely see her sweating in this if she doesn’t put it over the waist of her pants. For the price I’m not complaining, it does fit the phone I needed it to fit, I just wish it were made with a little more thought. It also has pockets on both sides and if the zipper does break, there is a flippy fabric piece (although I am not sure how that will hold up on a roller coaster). I couldn’t see anyone running with this. This fabric will definitely slide up.

I just wanted something to hold my phone (Pixel 3) so I didn’t need to grip it in my hand on long runs. The phone’s a tight fit, but it works and doesn’t bounce, so no complaints.

Si es la talla como viene. Esta muy padre porque no me rebota cuando estoy corriendo.

I needed a non-bulky way to hold my phone and keys while walking or running a few miles. I also want to carry a very small water bottle, like those you find on a fuel belt, but fuel belt products always twist and bounce, and a fanny pack was too big. This works well for my phone and keys. The zipper pouch gets the keys, my iPhone 8 fits in the pocket w/o the zipper, securely. As for the small water bottle, it worked in the other zipperless pocket. It doesn’t twist or shift and was comfortable. The fabric is not like spandex shorts, it’s a bit rough, but since it doesn’t shift it’s not irritating. Also not waterproof / sweatproof, so don’t expect that. If you sweat a lot you may want to put your valuables in a ziploc bag for protection.

I bought this belt because of the great price and to compare it to the flipbelt zipper. There is absolutely no comparison. The flipbelt wins in every category hands down.

First, even though the Nathan has two pockets, the pockets are just too small for most smartphones. The pockets have very little stretch so getting phones in and out is a real chore. The flipbelt has larger pockets that are stretchy.

Second is the comfort. The material used in the zipster light is mesh. If you wear it over your clothes, then no problem. If, however, you wear it under your shirt and it’s directly on your skin, this thing itches. The material in the flipbelt is infinitely more comfortable.

Third is the movement of the belt. The zipster is not quite tall enough to sit comfortably. As soon as I started jogging, it immediately started bouncing. This was with my phone, keys, one ID and two cards and my Jaybird vista case. No way I was going to make it 3 miles with this thing. Add to this the scratchiness of the material and I lasted about 100 yards and turned right back around to swap it for the flipbelt.

If you’re in the market for a comfortable running belt that doesn’t bounce, this ain’t the one.

Me encanta este cinturón para correr, es el segundo que compro, lo uso para guardar el teléfono, una tarjeta e identificación mientras corro, se ajusta bien, es duradero y cómodo, pero sobretodo, no es muy voluminoso.

I love this belt bag. Perfect for me. Holds a regular 500ml water bottle which I put on the back and my phone in front, when I run. The zipper part I put my cards and lipgloss. The other side I put a mask and small sanitizer. I was recommended to get the Salamon but I’m so happy I gave this a chance first.

It’s a good size fits me perfectly right. I got a small size S. My phone pixel 6 pro (6.7 inches) phone doesn’t fit in the pockets with the zipper, but does fit on the side pockets (w/o zipper). But I think bigger sized belts such as M and L won’t have that problem fitting big phones. On my runs I’m taking two soft water flasks (500lm and 250ml) and both fit well in the pockets without zipper, I put them in each pocket. The other zippered pockets are not that useful to me but I can put small things there like my keys or gels on racing days. Quality seems to be good, I’ve only used it on 3 long runs so far and didn’t have any issues with the belt. I’m actually very happy of this purchase.

    Edit:

I was able to carry my insta360 camera with a selfie stick (in a two different pockets that are w/o a zip lock), and 2 soft flasks with water. The belt held up really great.

As others have said, the pockets are small. That’s my only complaint. I squeezed my Pixel 1 into the back pocket. The M fit me well. The sizing chart was correct. I wore it under my shirt and it was PERFECT! Ran 8 miles with no bouncing or chafing. I put my phone in a baggie just in case the sweat transferred to the phone, but the pocket has a lining that protected the phone from moisture.
