These headlamps are the perfect intersection of great price and better utility. On one hand, it’s only a few dollars each but on the other, they provide so much help to you when you need it the most.
Let’s start with the packaging: admittedly this is weakest part. You get just one box that holds all your batteries, lamps and headstraps. They could have made individual packaging for each headlamp, thereby letting us give out a clean package to other people or keep one in each drawer around the house and in one little box. Also, the batteries and strap are not installed. This is fine if you got 10 minutes to kill while watching TV but a tad annoying if you haven’t done this beforehand and are fiddling with it in the dark. Most other headlamps have straps attached and have a tab to pull on pre-installed batteries so it’s definitely feels a bit DIY.
The lamps: These are very bright and very easy to use. They fit snug against your head and even have a little concave plastic tab that fits against your forehead and moves up and down. There’s one button that toggles between BRIGHT, less bright and off. I’m glad there’s no more buttons or features than that. I have fancier lights that toggle between 3-4 brightness levels and/or flashing modes or have multiple buttons and it’s completely useless. 99.9% of customers are going to be just people with power outages and people going back to their tents from the campfire while camping. For those few hikers who feel like they could get lost, be in the dark and need emergency flashing functions to signal rescuers, I guess consider other lamps.
That’s it! These can make a perfect low-cost gift if you don’t mind not having its own box. Even if not a gift, just buy this and throw it in the drawer. I can’t stress to you how useful these things are in a power outage. From going downstairs and being able to hold the railing, traversing the DARK basement to flip a breaker or going to the garage to get a generator going, having your hands free is paramount and just plain easier. Best yet, you can turn it on , stick the light upwards in the air and get enough light in the room to actually do things even if you don’t want it on your head. This thing blinded me when I looked at it so it’s plenty bright.
The build doesn’t look too waterproof so watch out for rain. It’s also 90% plastic. That helps with the weight but I’m sure you could snap a piece if you didn’t watch it. Not sure about battery life but it’s LED and 3 AAs. I’m sure it lasts plenty long.
That’s it. Great product. Highly recommended, especially at the low BF prices I’ve seen it at.

These were purchased with “hands free” use in mind because our neighborhood is gathering equipment to be used in disaster situations. There is an interest here now in emergency preparedness. We have used other hands free lights at home that have three different kinds of lights (white, red and red flashing) but my husband finds those to be inconvenient to click through when doing his home projects. For our purposes, at home or helping in a disaster, this simple hands free bright light is just right. It is also comfortable for my husband to wear on his bald head. It is adjustable.

Nice and lightweight headlamps. Get a lot of bang for the buck here but you will need to put them together and get your own batteries. We are switching to rechargeable batteries because we use these lights for dog walking, working inside the shed under low-light conditions, etc. The headbands are soft and adjust for comfort. The light also has a vertical adjustment on the frame to aim more toward the ground or up toward the sky to avoid passersby. We really like them and they are very bright. Recommend.

Great for working in the dark like camping or crawl spaces or attic work or under the kitchen sink. These are about $5 apiece and come with batteries. Comparable to the $40 energizer ones that I have been using for years. Great value, well made, incredible price.

The box was a little crumpled but the headlamps all intact. I received five headlamps and fifteen non-alkaline batteries. The box reads 175 lumens. I have tested each headlamp and they all work. No o-ring seals on the battery compartment so I’m not sure how water resistant they will be. At just over $6 a unit, delivered inside of two weeks from the US, they are very good value.

These lights work great. I gave you to each of my kids to use when we camp. They are comfortable for them to wear and arr easy for the to use.

The best price and good quality. Bright lights, without all those rarely used extra modes, such as red, flashing, and SOS, are bright and dim.
But there were NO batteries in the package, so I gave four stars

These headlamps are great. They came with batteries that have yet to run out with six months of use. Use them to take my dog out at night, in a recent power outage, etc. I would order again in a minute.
