I’m not quite sure how long ago we got these, but a good few years, and they still work. Granted we don’t use them very much but they hold a good charge for years. Most importantly for me is it has a white and a red light, so you can have some illumination without blinding others. Nice wide and adjustable headband that feels comfortable for a long time. I can’t say anything about whether it is water resistant, because we stay indoors when it rains 🙂

I had a similar headlamp to this years agao and glad I found these again.
Overall, great, basic light. One thing you need to do is put a piece of dark tape (eclectic or gorilla) on the bottom part of the lense. If you don’t do this, you get a bad glare from the light. Once you do this, they work great.

Got this 2-pack for $15 back in Oct 2023 and use them all the time for working on things around the house by myself. Bright, comfortable, long-lasting battery-life, and adjustable, so they work better than a hand-held flashlight could ever do. The fact that these use AAA batteries is a plus IMO, as those will never get ‘discontinued’ by a proprietery system by the manufacturer and no waiting to recharge if you need this in a hurry. You can even use these in tandem – strap one on something and wear the other one at the same time for double light coverage, if needed.

It is bright, light weight, affordable, functional, simple, and comfortable. My one complaint is about the modes. There are 4 modes (Red Light, medium, high, low in that order). When you first power it on, the first mode is a red light, so you have to press the power button 2 times to get to the normal mode, and 3 times to get to high. I have never and probably will never use the red light so i wish it was the last option instead of the first, (or preferably a separate mode with it’s own dedicated button). But that is a small complaint and I’m still happy with the purchase.

I got this so I could go outside and read at night on the patio, or in bed next to my significant other who is a very light sleeper – even the littlest bit of light will wake him up. I also like to garden when it’s dark because of how much cooler it is, and these work great for that, too. I’ve tried a couple of different brands, and this one is far and away the best one I’ve used. I really like how bright the lights on this are, and how easy it is to switch out batteries. The band is totally adjustable for comfort while wearing. Two of the other brands that i tried had automatic turn-off sensors that I couldn’t turn off, so the lamps would just turn off while I was using them. These do NOT do that, and that is awesome. I don’t need something that thinks it’s smarter than me, turning off the light when it is still being used!
For the price, these guys do exactly what they say and they are durable and last a very long time. Totally worth it!

I got these for my boys (7 & 8.5 years) for our first real camping trip. The seem well made given the price. They’re not the brightest lights available by a large margin but they’re bright enough to see clearly for a good ways in front of you. The also go through batteries a little faster than some units.
However, they come in a pair, so both boys have the same headlamps, which means no fighting over whose is better. They come with batteries. And they’re at a really good price, especially knowing that my boys will break them within 1 – 3 camping trips because they break everything.
If you want decent, inexpensive headlamps this is a great choice!

I purchased the model called “PRO”. Amazon seems also to list a “PRO 260” that appears to be the same product, as the purchased model is also rated at 260 lumens.
I have no problem giving this 5 stars. I have a vintage Petzl lamp that cost as much or more 10 – 15 years ago for a single unit, and these are vastly superior. The Petzl battery compartment was annoyingly difficult to open / close, and the on-off switch was no joy. The “red” light was a flip-down filter over the main light that was also hard to locate by feel and operate.
Regarding the Energizer, the battery compartment is easy to open yet still closes securely. The batteries do not want to “jump out” and are happy to stay in place while you close the cover. The on-off switch is significantly larger and therefore easier to find / operate. The strap is comfortable and easy to adjust. These units arrived with a black strap instead of the gray shown / advertised in the listing. That was a pleasant surprise to me. You may feel differently.
The only objections I can raise are the complete lack of operating instructions (it’s surprisingly non-intuitive) and that’s it’s advertised as having 7 modes, which is misleading. Let me resolve those.
It really has only four modes: red, spot and flood combined, spot only, and flood only, in that sequence. The modes are initiated by the number of times you initially press the on switch. Press once for red. Press four times for flood only. Once in any mode, a single press returns you to off. So, to go from spot to flood you press once for off, then four times for flood.
Except for red, all modes are variably dimmable. Once in any mode except red, hold the switch and the light will dim. It will blink when it arrives at the lowest level, which is not all the way to black. Press and hold again and it will brighten, blinking again when it achieves maximum intensity. Since the modes are variably dimmable you might as well say it has infinite modes, but the way the manufacturer counts them is red, and then both high and low on the three other modes.
Both units arrived in working order.

Actualización 2 Las volví a comprar para aumentar mi inventario. Definitivamente las primeras siguen funcionando como nuevas. Producto conveniente. Ahora traen cinta negra, se ven muy bien.
