I have large size 14 feet, with collapsed arches and flat feet, and was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis by my doctor. As part of my treatment, I was recommended this pair of running shoes, along with specialty aftermarket inserts. Although I had to break the bank for them, they’ve turned out to be one of the best investments I’ve made recently. I’m already planning to purchase another pair or two, along with the inserts, which cost about half the price of the shoes themselves.

The shoes fit perfectly, providing excellent support and encouraging a smooth heel-to-toe stride. I highly recommend them to anyone dealing with foot issues or just seeking a high-quality, comfortable shoe. Thanks, Brooks! You’ve gained a loyal customer for life.

So far I like these shoes. One foot fits me a little funny. I had to return my usual 10.5 wide and get a 10 wide.

If the funny fit goes away I’ll give it another star, and if it gets worse I’ll take one away. All and all, they’re firm yet cushioned. I like that feel the best.

Time will tell, but I’m optimistic.

Most comfortable shoe I have ever owened for walking dealing with foot pain. I am a 61 male with diabetic neuropathy, planter fasciitis and arthritis in my left foot. I have tried many other brands of shoes without much success for walking every day till I tried the Ghost Max. These shoes have exellent support and offer the most comfort of any other shoe I tried over the years. This shoe is truly a game changer, I can walk in the mornings nearly pain free and I never thought that would even be possible before wearing these shoes. Exellent mid sole support with a truly wonderful cushioning heel, roomy toe box and a great heel hight for effertless walking.

I have been using this pair for about two weeks. They are very comfortable, lightweight, easy to clean, and help greatly in running. The cushion is very soft, and the size perfectly fit my feet. Color of the shoes are exactly what I imagined. The delivery was fast. Lastly, it’s worth the money as the overall quality of the shoes is impressive.

Ich habe die Schuhe für meinen Freund zum Joggen gekauft. Er liebt sie und trägt sie jetzt nur noch…er sagt man läuft wie auf Wolken.

What I like the most is comfort. Definitely live up to manufacturer claims of most cushioning. I have 3 pairs of brooks, glycerin and adrenaline, this one is the most comfortable by far. Has helped with my plantar fasciitis. Would recommend if you have plantar fasciitis. But this is only one part of the healing process. These shoes alone will not resolve foot pain but they certainly contribute to the healing. The wide sole allows for better stability and the curved design of sole helps with walking strides. Color options are great the shoes look good. Will likely buy from this brand again and recommend to anyone with foot pain or if you want some comfortable and functional shoes for mild to moderate work outs or casual use.

I’m a little over 200 lbs and while many of the ShoeTubers say the Ghost Max are too firm, they actually strike just the right balance of soft and supportive for me as a somewhat heavier runner. I do a lot of walking and some running, mostly easy runs, 25+ miles per week. I have mild plantar fasciitis. I’ve recently gone through Revel 7 and Ghost 15. Currently on Glycerin 20. Glycerin almost feel too soft, which seems to make it a little harder to run in. Pretty big heel cushion on those too. Almost too much.

Today, I laced up the Ghost Max and went out for a test run. I was just going for a little break-in and launched into a full on 5k because the shoes just wanted to run! WOW! These shoes do everything right for me. Excellent fit. Excellent cushion. Excellent mild rocker. I even feel like the foam is giving me a little energy back with each step! I land somewhere between heel and midfoot and my shoes tend to wear out more toward the midfoot. Shoes are a very personal thing, so take all the reviews with salt. 🙂 But, I LOVE these shoes! LOVE LOVE LOVE

I just hope the Ghost Max II isn’t a step backwards with the Glycerin style foam. And note to ShoeTubers: please try to keep in mind that not every runner in your audience is built like you are and little extra weight can really change how shoes feel and perform. 🙂
