I bought these as a gift for my son -who has Asperger’s (high functioning autism) and ADHD for when he walks the dog everyday for 20-30 minutes. I thought these would be perfect because they weren’t bulky, could be used on a phone without having to be taken off, and were SUPPOSED to be insulated- cause they feel like a scuba suit. At first, before the actual date winter started, they were perfect for temperatures in the mid 50s and 12 mph winds. Now that winter is actually here in Oklahoma and the temperature has dropped significantly, within 15 minutes, our son rushes home, peels off his gloves to show the tips of his fingers had turned white and red. I mentioned his mental health because in some cases, it takes him a little longer to realize how he’s doing physically when his body is too cold or overheated, so I thought these were a little peace of mind for me and him. After 20 minutes of trying to bring back feeling and then any feeling other than pain, we had to go to the emergency department. Diagnosis? First stages of frostbite.

So, the take away? Don’t trust these and buy regular, ACTUAL winter gloves- not just because you can text with these.

They are not warm at all. But I did not buy for that purpose. I needed a pair of gloves That I could use my iPhone for work. Plus I need a good grip to open a door with codes to get in for work. These have a great grip for that purpose.

    good :
    comfortable
    touchscreen on forefinger and thumb
slightly grippy on the rubberized pattern on the palm side
    clip to keep them together

    bad :
touchscreen parts not as good as they should be

    FYI :
they are made from 88% polyester 12% spandex which was not seen on the product page

Overall these are nice gloves. Feels quite comfortable and flexible enough. What lets it down is the touchscreen part on forefingers. For you to use them you have to use where the fingerprint would be. This is an unnatural way to use your phone/tablet/touchscreen as normally your finger would be perpendicular to the screen, and not parallel with it. If the touchscreen pad on the finger was on the end of the fingers, then these would be perfect. Whilst you can adjust yourself to use your phone differently, the degree of precision is less. (surface area of fingerprint is less accurate than your fingertip). For the thumbs this is not as much of an issue, but it still would be more precise to be able to use the tips.

If you don’t use these for touchscreen – great. 5 stars
If you do use for touchscreen – good. 4.5 stars

These gloves fit perfectly. The lining is so soft and comfortable to wear. The touch screen finger tips are so convenient and I like how I’m still able to grip objects. The fabric is lightweight but still keep my hands nice and warm in the cold. They have a stylish design and go with any clothing style. Definitely worth the value.

Great gloves. If you’re in doubt about what size to order then go smaller. They have a bit of stretch and are quite generous for the stated size. If they were to be just a bit too big then your fingertips wouldn’t be planted firmly enough for effective phone navigation.
Some other gloves have three active tips on each glove, ie thumb, fore and middle fingers, where as these are only thumb and forefinger.
So if you’re a middle finger tapper then check out some others, otherwise I highly recommend these.
The gloves are pretty warm, but when my dog walks are extremely cold and windy then I put fingerless gloves over the top of these, so my hands feel cosy but I can still use my phone with ease.

Good cloves when using a pda in cold conditions

First off, I have some pretty big hands, usually most gloves are small on me, even when ordering XL. Fortunately these are not that way and do stretch to fit my hands comfortably. Seem like very good quality. They are warm and I can still use my touch screen without taking them off (big plus). Definitely worth the price, would buy again.

These gloves are perfect for cold weather! They provide excellent insulation, keeping my hands warm even in freezing temperatures. The soft interior lining feels comfortable, and the outer material is durable and water-resistant. Plus, they offer a snug fit without sacrificing mobility, making them great for outdoor activities. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable warmth during winter!

  10. Andrea Raiola

I love that these gloves are lightweight and will be perfect for the spring and autumn, but they are not warm at all. They are also great for touchscreens and work well. I live in the northeast and they are not good for colder days. Being out on a snow day they will get soaked and your hands will freeze, which they did! Had to run into the house and get warm gloves. I’ll save these for when I walk in the spring and autumn seasons.

Got these for my husband for work when he is working at night. He is able to work in them with comfort.
