There is nothing more frustrating than having to perform a task in a confined and darkened area.
You spend more time holding and fiddling around with a flash light in order to get even the simplest of jobs completed. Picking it up, putting it down, holding it in your mouth…very annoying to be honest.
These headlamps solve that issue. They have a very comfortable fit that can be adjusted to your
personal preference and with that, frees up both hands to do whatever it is that needs to be done
when available light is non-existent. The lamp also can be adjusted in increments with a tilt feature to focus on the area that you are working on. There are (4) light/brightness levels as well that adapt to the project at hand as well. The brightest setting is plenty bright, especially for close-up tasks.
As I have only used them for an under the kitchen counter repair, I’m not sure how long the batteries will last, but with 3 of them installed, they should last a while. With that in mind, I can see these coming in very useful for night cycling adding an extra safety component for the ride. A red warning lamp feature and flashing red/green display would also be a very handy thing to have at your disposal during an evening roadside emergency.
For a very reasonable price, you get 2 headlamps with adjustable straps which are very soft and comfortable and would come in very handy in any situation that requires “hands free” lighting.
They take 3 AAA batteries which ARE NOT included.
Still well worth the cost for a bright, lightweight light source that eliminates the hassle of holding a flashlight while trying to tackle a job in the dark.

these things are great. I’ve had mine over a year. no problems. has multiple settings from very bright to very dim which is great when camping, for example to have dim when inside the tent. and a real bargain considering you get two lights.

I bought these for a caving trip. I would not recommend them as your primary light source. But they are great as a backup.

Holding a torch and working is not particularly easy, these get the light exactly where you are looking.
These despite the reasonable cost, are well made, easily adjusted (tilt angle etc) and easy to select the required light. Although to be honest just use the white light!
The weight is also ok, important if wearing for a long time. As for the waterproof, worked ok in some really heavy rain, but not so sure if it would last too long submerged or least for a long period or more than at a shallow depth. Suspect ok for than perhaps falling in, short surface swim and climbing out!
Would I buy again ? Yes.

Most important to me is how well it sits on my head, elastic band is comfortable and adjustable, the pivot pc for the light itself actually solidly locks into place at each position. Buttons are easily able to be located and it Lights up every thing in front of you out to 25/30 yds easily, (of course this would depend on brush, vegetation, etc) beyond that the beam becomes more straight foward and dimmer but thats ok, i need them to see the trail in front of me and at my feet. Worth the price, especialy for the two count. Keep in mind that youre not not going to get a huge amount of light out of something that operates on 3 AAA bat’s. Nor will those bat’s be as bright after 2 or 3 hrs of use.

Für den Preis bekommt man gute Stirnlampen. Die Helligkeit ist ausreichend. Über die Haltbarkeit kann man ja noch nichts sagen.

Our former head lamps said LED but are more than double out shined by these. Great price for two.

I ordered this head light to mainly use while going into the dark and shallow crawl space under my two houses. Most of the times, I have to move about on all fours and do a low crawl like when I was in military training. I don’t have to deal with handling a handheld flashlight and it frees up my two hands for other things. It puts out a good bright light with 3 brightness settings. It’s lite weight and comfortably to wear, and you can adjust the vertical angle to suit your field of vision. I found it’s useful and handy to grab to put light on home work projects where I need to see better. For me, the purchased on a lighting deal was a good buy for two units. I use re-chargeable AAA batteries to power the device and battery life is good. The control buttons are a bit tiny for my use but definitely manageable. I think these would do well for outdoor activities (biking, hiking, etc.) when low-light is an issue.

This head lamp is very bright and lightweight. I particularly like the red light; it makes me nostalgic for my darkroom days developing photographs.
The red light is great for adjusting camera settings for night photography while on a tripod without losing night vision. If I could still backpack, it would be an asset since the white light is so very bright.
The only caveat I have is a question regarding its durability. The way it’s constructed makes me doubt its claim of being waterproof. However, I haven’t tested it yet in the rain.

I recently walked the first 200 miles of the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile pilgrimage across northern Spain. I used these headlights a lot and they functioned perfectly. Even the red light came in handy when I had to get up in the middle of the night and didn’t want to disturb the other pilgrims sleeping. I will be taking them when I return to walk the remaining 300 miles.

I purchased these for my daughter to have at college in case there was a hurricane or the lights went out. Living in Florida and going through many hurricanes I’ve learned that having a flashlight is important but it can be a pain when you have to carry it around. Having a head lamp makes things so much easier. Opening the case to put in the batteries was a little difficult but once open they were easy to put in. The light has a bunch of settings and it very bright. The headband is adjustable to fit any size head. I would purchase again.
