Save your money and buy this vest. Its very light and can hold your phone and water and many other things. Its good quality, for the price i am very happy!

Got this vest for summer hiking and biking. I don’t run so not too sure how it holds up for trail running. Feels loose on me even after I tighten all the straps but it is very comfortable.
Holds plenty of water for 3 to 4 hours of activity on really hot days. I use 1.5 liter water bladder in back and LMNT flavored water container in the front pouch. Vest holds a small rain resistant jacket in the back pouch. Room in front pockets for sun block and small stuff.
I like that it is light weight, breathable and fast drying. I also like that it is not a long vest (the bottom front of the vest ends at bottom of my rib cage). Giving me enough room to wear a “fanny pack” (front facing) around my waist for snacks on my hikes

Love this!! Comfortable, lightweight, so much storage, and great quality!!

  4. Best hat I’ve bought on Amazon

Great replacement. for my Camelbak. The only thing that would improve the vest would be a zipper closure instead of clips for the bladder compartment.

  5. Adam

I love the POCKETS on this vest! And that you can adjust it to your body with the zipper clips. So genius! The zip pocket perfectly holds my iPhone15 (if you have a bigger phone, I don’t think it will hold yours). I wish it had more reflective tape on it so it’s more visible, but I love the functionality and fit! Does not bounce when running! Great investment!

The AONIJIE Hydration Vest Pack Backpack 5L is an excellent choice for beginner runners. Its lightweight design offers a snug, comfortable fit without feeling bulky, making it perfect for long runs or races. The 5L capacity provides ample storage for essentials like water, snacks, and keys, while the included hydration system ensures you stay hydrated on the go. With adjustable straps and breathable material, this vest is both practical and comfortable for runners just starting out.

I am new to the distance running game, but this product was a game changer. I looked at some of the nicer brands, well-known brands, but could not justify spending the amount they wanted when something like this was available. I was a little apprehensive because the price was so good but the backpack has been great. It is lightweight and fits comfortably. You will need to purchase the bladder separately, but it fits perfectly in the backpack. There is enough storage for some gel back, sunglasses, credit cards, etc. Would highly recommend if you are looking for an inexpensive version of a hydration pack.

  8. Cheyenne Johnson

This is a very solid running vest for the price, especially considering running vests can be super expensive from other brands. It fits well, but if you’re only running in a sports bra or a cropped shirt it tends to chafe your stomach. Has pockets for all the essentials, phone, wallet, keys, snack, but the zip pocket is too small to fit a large phone (I have the iPhone 15 Plus), I can stuff it in the water bottle pocket but it takes a little adjusting. I can fit my 2L pack in.

For context, I initially bought the cheaper AONIJIE Ultralight Running Vest (~$22) and really hated how much that one bounced and how my phone gave me a bruise by the way it was rubbing on my rib during the run. Spending $8 to upgrade to this vest was absolutely worth it.

When I put my phone on the right side and then a 250 mL TRIWONDER soft flask with a 110 mL Energy Flask bottle on the left side, this vest works wonderfully. I tried running with it on both fast and easy runs (7:15-12:30 per mile pace), and I was very content with how it fit and didn’t bounce. Note that I am a skinny dude (5’9″ @ 140 lbs – I’m a stick), so I had to tighten every strap to nearly as far as the straps would let me, but it was comfortable enough to run with and not feel like my breathing was restricted.

I didn’t purchase a bladder with this vest (some of the reviewers here need to learn to read descriptions of products before purchasing, but I digress) since I didn’t need one, but I would guess it could potentially help balance the weight on the front if you experience bouncing. I personally don’t have that problem, but just food for thought.

My only gripe: the phone pocket is useless for phones because of how small it is. Most modern phones will not fit, and my Pixel 6 barely fits in the pouch on top of the phone pocket. And when it rains, I’ll likely need to use both this vest (for water/energy gels) and my running belt (to keep my phone dry). Otherwise, though, I’m very content I get to dabble in the running vest world with this specific vest!

  10. Shieun Park

I ran my first marathon with this thing. To be more exact, the first time I ever wore this thing was for my marathon LOL. It held a 1.5L water bladder, 500ml bottle with electrolytes, and some energy gummies perfectly. I just love how lightweight it is. It did not get in my way at all or cause any irritation/rubbing.

Only complaint is the zipping pouch could be a little bigger for my phone. I don’t carry my phone in it cause it’s too tight, but it’s a perfect pocket for other stuff like keys or wallet. The little medicine pouches I feel like are useless because they are so small for anything else besides medicine which I don’t carry with me.

Used it for the first time the other day. Pretty comfortable and holds all the essentials well.
