These shoes have excellent cushioning. I walk 5-7 miles every morning, sometimes on trails and sometimes on blacktop and these are perfect.

I bought these because size 8 was only available in the black and white color way which is fine because I wanted a good cushy running shoe for walking. These are light weight and the fit hugs my feet and they make me want to jog.

This shoes works very well. For a heavier fellow with wide feet, the amount of support and bounciness that the shoe delivers is terrific. The is nearly the same after a few months of heavy use and no rips in the toe area yet. Great for someone not in shape to transition into being active again. The fit is great, the material is light, breathable and dries easily.
The foam l, unfortunately, is not as durable and has started to shave off after a week of use. If you’re worried that the foam looks ridiculously thick in the product photo worry not, it’s not as thick when you see it in person.

Probably the best, most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned. I tried them at a local store first, but they didn’t stock the color I wanted so got them here. I’m not a runner at all, just using a a general purpose daily shoe. Took me a while to get used to walking in them because they are so springy feeling at first, but after a few weeks of break in they feel completely normal.

I bought these for a recent trip to Europe. I walked all over with them and did a ton of steps (30k+) on some of the days. I was beyond exhausted on those days, but these amazing shoes made it possible.
The extra grip on the Nimbus 26 allowed me to take on all kinds of roads, including dirt and gravel.
Only complain is they’re a tad bulky. Can’t easily cross your legs with them for long. Now that I’m not doing tons of walking, I’m looking for slimmer shoes but with a bit more cushion than my ultraboosts. Perhaps a pair of ON cloudsurfer when they go on sale.

These are absolutely amazing, very cushioned shoes. I actually first bought these out of desperation, as I vacationed to Florida for the theme parks and didn’t pack good enough shoes to get me through all the walking there. Ended up stopping at a shoe store and had these recommended to me by the store’s staff.
This might sound dramatic, but I promise it’s true – thanks to these shoes (and that shoe expert’s recommendation to buy them), my vacation was saved. I didn’t wear the other shoes the rest of the time I was vacationing.
I was able to put 30 miles on these straight out of the box, just walking around. I get 10K steps a day and they’ve been my “daily drivers” since early March.
I was excited to run in them once I got home. I tried 3 times to do 5Ks in these, but the cushioning is so big, it gave me shin splints each time. If you like superfluous cushioning in your running shoes, this has wayyyyy more than Brooks Glycerin or Ghost Max. Like I said in the title: perfect for me for walking, hence my 5 stars, but they’re not going to be in my actual running shoe rotation.
Also, to address the other reviews that said they had issues with rips in the shoe – I have over 300 miles on these now and I have zero issues with that. They’re getting pretty dirty, but I feel like you’d have to really abuse these to rip them.
