  1. Balconybar

I’m a busy runner and occasional half-marathoner. I got these ones to replace my last pair of ASICS, the previous Venture ones I think. They fit me great, they’re really comfortable and easy to run on the trails and roads. I normally do 5-10 miles a time and I’ve had many miles out of this current pair, and shaping up for a half marathon in November. I’m very happy with these shoes.

  2. DaBoot

It’s hard for me to find a size 15 that checks all of the boxes. But this shoe did. Comfort, fit, style you name it! I loved the arch support. I have flat feet.

  3. Mursal

    Very happy from the product

This is my 4th or 5th pair of Ventures. What I love: 1. They have wide sizes. 2. they do not come unglued. 3. all kinds of color ways. 4. affordable. = 5 Stars

I use these daily for running. Having wide feet, finding a good sneaker is not easy. this is what attracted me to Asics. Since then I realized all the other things that makes these a great shoe. I’ve had many shoes that the soles separate…they literally come unglued. It is always at the most inopportune time. I haven’t had any of these come unglued. The tread wears out long before the glue does. There are multiple colorways, so you can find a pair that fits your likes. They are a great value. Especially with running/tennis shoes/sneakers. They are going to get thrashed, so when they do it doesn’t break the bank. I have high arches, so foot pain has never been a big problem. For me these are comfortable. I think I get about 8 months out of these shoes. I put around 1-3 miles in these daily. I basically run them until the soles wear out or the traction gets slippery. Pun intended, your mileage may vary.

  7. Honest Reviewer

They are comfortable. But I had to return the first pair because the sizing is wrong. They run slightly smaller on size. So I had to reorder a larger pair.

  8. Jeran Long

I’ve used these shoes previously and never had any issues. This is my second pair in 4 years since I wear them so much. They are a great trial running shoe and pavement. They’re comfy enough that you can wear them casually as well.

I’ve worn ASICS for many years and swear by them as a comfortable running and walking shoe. I do have to wonder if the company is cutting corners on quality. My last pair (which these were intended to replace) developed a worn spot on the back of the heel area within a few months of when purchased (only on one shoe). I didn’t think too much of that issue and just decided to buy a new pair, as the pricing for ASICS continues to be an attractive draw.

After these shoes arrived, I started wearing them right away. Everything seemed OK until just over a week after I started wearing them. During a visit to a local theme park for a day, I noticed my left foot starting to go numb after a few hours of walking around. I didn’t think about it being the shoes at first, but I eventually had to go back to my hotel room to sort out the issue. I had a spare pair of old ASICS that I decided to put on, and had no further issues.

The next day I put the new pair back on and started experiencing the same thing within two to three hours after walking around. What I finally noticed was an issue with the arch support where it wasn’t formed quite like the right shoe, and was apparently aggravating a pressure point on the bottom of my foot that was causing the numbness. It wasn’t very obvious, but it was enough to make a difference.

This could be an odd, one-off defect and I was able to return the shoes with no issues. That being said, it’s now my second pair in a row that i’ve purchased that have experienced quality issues.

Incredibly good sport’s shoes for the price! Assics has other more expensive models obviously but you don’t need to spend that much. These ones are perfect for running and walking. light weight and comfy. Look durable, but time will tell.

I am a size 11 Mens if you use a brannock device to measure your foot. Width is a C-D. A 12 fits fine. I could probably have done the 11, but was afraid the pinky toes might rub on the sides of the shoe – depending on how pointy the ends of shoes like this are, you need a little larger size to keep your toes from getting bunched up… not with these.

The cuff around the ankle bone is cut low, so it does not cut into the bottom of your ankle – that is a problem with some cross trainer type shoes made of the pretend leather – they aren’t flexible enough and the cut isn’t deep down enough.

These would be fine if they did – the collar is padded and soft… sometimes, with a low cut collar like that, the heel will slip out of the shoe – these do not do this. Heel stays in the shoe, plenty of room around the ankle.

Wouldn’t mind a version that’s a little less ventilated for winter use, but these are fine with a wool sock.

Support is good enough – I always use insole inserts with a better heel cup and arch, but what came with the shoe is not bad. Not super impressive, but I think I could get away with using it. I just prefer my Sole brand inserts.

Haven’t used them long enough to know the longevity – materials seem decent. Other brands I end up gluing soles back in, or gluing split seams (If I don’t sew them with an awl). I expect that with anything under about $70 anymore… these are holding up very nicely.

They’re comfortable, well-made, sturdy, breathable, etc… I can definitely see how doctors, and nurses use this brand for their job cuz they can withstand some wear & tear.

I work retail and walk a LOT for my job so I’m happy that the outside of them still look fine despite my mishaps. The only bad thing I’ve noticed is on the inside of my right shoe, it’s worn down the material on the right side of my heel to the hard material the shoe wall is made of since it’s my dominant foot, my left foot only just barely started to wear through the material.

Like I said tho, my job consists of me walking for nearly 8 hours a day, that doesn’t even include any time I’ve used them outside of my work. I’ve spent more money on shoes before and had them the same amount of time and seen the wear & tear be so bad by comparison.

I will most likely be sticking with this brand the next time I decide to replace these.

I don’t run unless I’m being chased. You might be surprised that these shoes also work perfectly well for walking. In fact, I think they are better for walking than any other pair of shoes I own. They are comfortable and give me a nice, padded and stable walk. The size was perfect both in length and width. I bought three pairs of sneakers in the last year and these are my favorite.
